Joan M. Clark
As CEO of JM Clark & Company, Joan Clark drives the mission to build partnerships with corporations and individuals to achieve the extraordinary. With over 25 years in human resources, Joan most recently served in the executive position of Area Vice President of Human Resources for Parker Hannifin Corporation, a $13B global enterprise. Joan had responsibility for the HR direction of three of Parker’s seven operating groups, 20,000 employees, and 200 HR team members. Joan’s leadership experience spans various industries, including aerospace and automotive throughout countries in China, Europe, Canada, France and Mexico; enabling Joan to gain strategic business partnering experience in the areas of HR strategy and planning, acquisition and integration, international human resources, and talent/performance management.
Johanna Hollowich, a Partner of Spectrum Knowledge, has worked with clients throughout Asia/Pacific, Europe and the Americas. Johanna advises companies on how to implement the essential skills required for today’s competitive global marketplace. She has successfully facilitated international business solutions that include presenting over 500 training programs and designing a variety of e-learning courses. To customize programs for clients worldwide, Johanna works with experienced, multilingual intercultural associates from countries around the world including China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, Russia and Singapore.
Karen Kramer Horning, Ph.D.
As a human resource professional and consultant, Karen Kramer Horning has worked with companies from a variety of industries at all stages of their development, with an emphasis on startup ventures. Also an educator, Karen teaches and trains HR professionals, managers and executives through several programs at UCSD Extension and the UCSD Rady School of Management's Center for Executive Development. Karen is certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has a doctoral degree in Leadership Studies. Karen’s areas of expertise include executive coaching, team and group coaching, leadership development, culture initiatives, diversity and equity programs and work/life integration.
Christine Itano-Cosner, Partner of Spectrum Knowledge, has 25 years of experience as an organizational development consultant, instructional system designer and trainer and facilitator for Fortune 500 organizations and non-profits agencies. Ms. Itano-Cosner has a M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Her expertise includes leadership/ management development, organizational development, strategic planning, performance management, teambuilding, diversity training, coaching, instructional design and development and organizational research. She is an instructor at the UC San Diego Rady School of Management and has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of California at Irvine, Merage School of Business, Executive Education Program and a member of Pfizer’s Worldwide Diversity & Inclusion consultant team.
Vu H. Pham, Ph.D.
As the Chair of Elevate, Vu H. Pham, Ph.D. works with dozens of organizations from the Fortune 500 to government and non-profit agencies. Elevate is a partnership with the Center for Executive Development at the University of California, San Diego's Rady School of Management, as well as Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside's Career Centers. The Elevate Program boosts organizational performance and strategic effectiveness through interactive training and data-driven research.
Stephanie Piimauna is the Director of Diversity & Inclusion for the MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV. She has worked in the field of Diversity and Inclusion for years primarily as a consultant. Stephanie is responsible for leading the MGM Resort’s Diversity and Inclusion department including the creation of content and delivery of their Diversity and Inclusion two-day leadership course, which is mandatory for all managers. She also leads the MGM Resort’s sixteen Employee Network Groups across Las Vegas, Detroit, Biloxi, Reno, and Tunica. In addition, Stephanie is responsible for managing the MGM Resort’s CSR Councils (Corporate Social Responsibility). These councils lead the organization’s Green Advantage initiative, Philanthropy Initiatives, and Volunteer Initiatives. She currently resides in Las Vegas, NV with her husband, daughter, and two grandchildren.
Anita Polite-Wilson, Ph.D.
Dr. Anita Polite-Wilson is presently employed by The Aerospace Corporation as the manager of the Leadership and Business Skills Development Office within The Aerospace Institute. She has been a professional educator and developer of organizational leaders for more than 20 years. She has provided the design, development, and delivery of leadership and management skills training for such companies as Ingram Micro Inc., Unified Western Grocers Inc., ARINC, Inc., The Los Angeles Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), The Barlow Respiratory Hospital Foundation, and the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers Associations’ (CSMFO) Annual Weekend Training Program.
1. The Elevate ERG Academy: The ERG Academy functions as the leading knowledge institute for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). The ERG Academy produces leading-edge, innovative and practical insights on ERGs. We synergize the collective knowledge, best practices and passion of ERGs across industries. Our mission is to align ERGs to augment their organizations’ success.
2. The Elevate Forum & Elevate Leadership Certificate Series: These programs provide professionals with the necessary leadership, influence, innovation and strategic-thinking skills to advance in today’s global, diverse work environment.
